I'm confused on something with my Directv service. I signed up in August 2011 and had the movie channels free for 3 months. I had until the 22nd of this month to cancel without being charged but with the holidays coming up I did it now while I'm thinking of it. Now I have a credit of $7.95. How would I have a credit if they're free and I canceled within the three months?

Have you looked at your bill?

You were charged for the movie service and then credited back. If you cancel, they reverse the charge but you're still entitled to the credit as that was part of your "signing bonus".

Or like me they made an offer I couldn't refuse to keep my premiere going after the 1st 3months!

Well I would of had to remove them on November 22 any ways so I know I'm close to the end of the three months.
