Diapering timers and increasing episode nr's

I have noticed a very weird issue. First I lost the timer for the Ultimate Fighter Live and now for Mad Men. But I noticed that the Episode numbers went up by 3 episode in one week, when I tried to record the the mist episodes. Madmen went from episode 62 to 65. TUF live went from episode 9 to 11 ( if I remember correctly).
I have no idea of the two are related but did anyone else notice this?
