dish hopper does't a"see" my LNBS

I have tried a dish model 1000.4 the for Easrern arc, but signals was low (Western arc is not available because of trees) so I have tried using two dish 500's to get greater signal levels as there is some some blockage of signal from trees, and now get decent signal levels, but My Dish Hopper receiver will not recognize the LNBs, though my other dish receiver VIP 720 works perfectly with this setup.Can you tell me what LNB's will work for using a dish Hopper receiver? I am using two Dish Pro Dualoutput LNBS Model 120810.

You need DPP lnb's . You will only get use of two tuners unless you have two wires go into a node. One out goes to the Hopper, the other is connected to any Joeys.

You can't just feed the two sat feeds to your node. If you are running dp single from a two dish solution to a hopper they need to go through a dpp switch then to your node.

By way of a business decision, you can't use a Hopper in conjunction with a ViP722.

If "for other receivers" you mean for a single owned ViP211(k), then yes.

Also do you have a node hooked up? You will need a node for the hopper.

The output from the two dishes goes to a DPP switch with the output from the switch one to each input of the Node and then to the receiver.
