I'm kinda new to this so I am looking for any and all help. A friend told me about this fta reciever called a pansat and said it would work with my 18 inch dish network dish. I bought the reciever but cant locate any sat. and the rec. wont recognize my dish. Any ideas?

Seemingly there are unscrupulous e-bay dealers selling pansats that have been fried by the most recent ECM to unsuspecting customers (serves them right trying to steal) For goodness sake don't buy these fried receivers from these SCUMBAGS, buy a brand new receiver from a recognised satellite dealer not the crooks who are flooding the market with fried pansats, its only going to get worse!
