DVR Opinions, please

I am thinking of buying a DVR and I would be buying a used one. I will be installing the triple lnb dish. Since there are several out there, I was hoping to get your opinions on which one to focus on.

And for those can't understand why I just don't have a new system installed, I don't want to. I do not need the AT9, my local HD channels are available OTA. And I do not want to lease. If you can't understand that, don't bother to post.

Are you asking about buying a used HD DVR if you are Directv only has the HR10-250.

So that is my only choice, regardless of where I get it from, if I want HD?
