I just got my FS1 and i am unable to the the q signal and unable to get a lock but when i move my 6' dish i have S signal no mater where i go. Do i have a bad lnb or bad cable to the meter and i have the 22k option on. Any thoughts since these two are quite new.

i have noticed that when i move the meter up in the air that the q goes up with out moving the dish and how can i tell if a lnb is bad.

If you get "S" reading better than 95% chance the LNB is good. I have had only 2 go bad. A tornado threw one dish around, the LNB connectors stayed on the cables when the dish and lnbf went 100 feet east. The second took a hit when lightning hit the high tension power lines overhead. Also took out 2 or 3 switches. Two others were bad when I got them used. Both drew so much current the receivers shut down.
