Is it possible to play an entire folder of recorded show so the episodes play back to back without me having to manual trigger the next episode over & over? While the show was highlighted I tried hitting play but nothing happens.

TiVo can do that, too. For a short period, Dish did have a "playlist" type button after the "select" [recordings] sequence in the DVR recordings list and people here got excited, as did I. When I selected it, nothing happened. Then about 2 months later, the button was taken away.
It seems Dish was on the road to having a Playlist, then abandoned it. Dish could still be working on it, but I really wouldn't bet on it. We shall have to wait and see.
