H396 Software Version

I manually updated my 2 Hopper 3 receivers to H396 and my Joey3 to J596. I don't know what this software update does.

Does Rewind on streaming channels actual jump foward in to the live buffer steam? I would like that fixes seem I watch alot stream channels and if I hit skipback on live tv which almost always buffer head of what is on livetv it jump forward before I can get to skip back?

Has this been fixed with the latest release?:

Every since the previous version, when using my 40 remote with my H3 I get the "low battery" warning, even though the batteries are new. It doesn't do it for the 54 remote (also I have been using the 40/H3 combo for years without any problems).
