Yea the Blockbuster disc system is a bit slow.Ive went a week or so without a disc.I like the streaming part of BBH.I really believe that they could improve the layout and functionality of it though.Alot of the movies I have never even heard of.I cant really complain though.I had Dish platinum before it changed and really find it to be a great value for $10. I would really like to see DISH come down on their PPV movies. If they would come down to around $1.99 - $2.50 a movie, I would order the first run hits from them, rather than going to REDBOX sometimes to get them.

What I like about BB@Home is that I can immediately exchange my online discs at my local BB store (across the street from me) for a recent Blu-ray release, which I do at least once a week. With Dish Cinema charging $6.99 a pop for the latest PPV HD movies, paying $10 a month for BB is a lot cheaper that paying Dish $28 or waiting a long time for it to ship via BB@Home.

Of course, when the BB store closes (notice I said when, not if) near me I will have to rethink BB@Home's value.

I also very rarely do ppv for the simple reason that the HD offerings are absurdly expensive (Dish PPV). In fact, I won't do BB@home PPV either...I pay enough as is...

Yea hope our BB does not close, one its kind of the anchor store in the plaza it's in. And for my own reasons it's gives the package that much more value

I had BB by mail prior to switching to Dish so for me it's a win win. Like others have posted, for me, the turn around for mail is really fast. I return usually on a Monday and have another disc Thursday or Friday with a few exceptions. I am also fortunate to have one store within 5 minute drive (use to have three) but don't use it very often. We usually keep a movie two weeks before we get a chance to watch so the mail option is ideal for us. I keep about 30 movies in my que so there is always something available to ship and we are lucky to have a good distribution center for our area. I haven't tried BB via Dish so can't comment but looking at what is available there is a lot of rom for improvement. Over all I am happy.

IF I had a store near me it would've been great. I don't, so I found it WAY more aggravating than it was worth. I went back to NF and I receive at least twice as many Bluray discs in a month with their 1 disc @ a time plan than I did with BB's 2 @ a time--and they actually have movies I want to see available. Just my personal experience.....

I turned in my latest movie Last Sunday and I got a notice Friday the 25th that they received it and the next in my queue would ship soon. Here I am on the 28th with no new movie. SO this week sucked for getting a new movie. I might try Netflix again for blu-rays.

Man, Dish Cinema's price seems so wrong when I went to my movie theater and watched a 2-D matinee for $6.50
