I think I am the first in my area to VOOM. I'm tempted to go ahead and run the RG-6 from roof to TV, just to maximize the time the guy has to monkey with twitchy OTAs and misbehaving receivers.

Best of luck on your installation. Mine went really well, but I didn't find this forum until about 2 months after everything was in. I really lucked out because the Voom guy was here at the same time the HDTV was getting put in, and the TV guy knew EVERYTHING. The two guys worked together, and everything runs really well. I'm very satisfied, and hope you will be too.

My voom will be installed Monday as well, but after reading all the problems with the Box, OTA, and PQ I may tell them not to do it. But what the "HELL" If it sucks it will be back on the truck before they leave!!

Hey my installer just called again and what was to be today was pushed to Monday now the idiot says Tuesday. I know from calling Installs inc. it was fedexed to them 2 days ago.
Just another horror story.
