Hard to say due to lack of a reference object, but it looks to be in the 10' category. I'm doubtful on 12'.

Well, here it is a bit more than 2 weeks from my email, and I'm picking it up Friday!

Does it look like a 10'er? I've been looking everywhere for pictures to ID it, but the only mesh I can find is a 12' with the dual circumferential bands inside the outer edge.

She's on the trailer next to the house now A friend and I pulled up at 10:30 am this morning and were driving away in less than two hours. I grabbed everything except the buried cable and control wires. The dish came off the mount, then was split in two for loading. The polar mount was frozen solid to the pole and wasn't budging. So, I had a Hi-Lift jack and jacked it right out of the ground! It took some grunting on the jack, but it came up nice, slow and easy. I'm going to run out to take some pics...

Im not about to argue with: FREE!
But I've heard there were clones of Paraclipse dishes.
The ribs on this one don't look like the ones on Stoggies big P!

That doesn't make it less desirable.
Havent heard anyone say bad things about clones, but haven't seen one either.

Two panels are damaged/pulling out of the frame. How can or should these be fixed? There seems to be a plastic strip at the outer edge which can be removed. Can this be removed then the mesh piece slide out a few inches, then slid back in engaging the slot in the radial rib?


EDIT TO ADD:

Oh, the LNB(F?) is a Chapparal with the feedhorn integral with the scalar ring; all one piece. I haven't noticed that in all my browsing about here and on the webs.

Ha! It's just a 20-minute drive down the highway. No trailer here at all. I don't even have a hitch on my vehicle. I'm a city boy! I'd have to rent a truck. This would not be a simple operation. It's probably too much for me, but it would be fun to see it.

For the price you get a nice mount, and maybe restorable motor, regardless if you like the dish (and pole) or not.

Notice how the pole is set in concrete? Looks like it would give a heck of a fight if you were trying to extricate it.
