Killer setup

Well a buddy has an install setup for tomorrow. He's a first time customer coming over from Uverse and has 5 HDTV's. His setup is going to be 1 HR44 & 4 HR24's, so with 13 tuners and Tons of HDD space that's going to be a hell of a setup. I'm going over there tomorrow night to help him set everything the way he wants after the installer is gone.

Yes, that's going to be a killer.
I hope he realizes that the HR24 Series Links will have to be set up at each HR.

I have that same setup a HR44, three HR24's and a HR21. I have an internal 2TB drive in the 21 so that's why I keep it. One of the 24's has a 2TB external drive and the other HR24's have a 1TB external drive. I use the iPhone or iPad app usually to schedule recordings, makes it easier from one place. I wish you could schedule from the guide to which DVR you want. I am real happy with the setup, the hard part is finding time to watch everything that you record. I basically NEVER watch anything live, I hate commercial breaks.

It did take a few hours and its quite the awesome setup. They like it much better the Uverse.
