Last & Next Movie Watched

Been hearing good things about Repo Men... maybe soon...

Watched IP Man last night. Good movie and appreciated the dubbing for convenience, although some of the voice actors could have done a better job. Also, a teen age kid was voice cast as a little boy. There is a clear difference between how a 15 year old sounds and a 5 year old.

Language dubbing is not bad in and of itself, it is just that the casting and directing of the voice actors are often not up to the quality of the rest of the movie. Still, I prefer to have the option vs, not and having to just read the subtitles.

Just Ok. Several friends thought it was awesome.

Yeah, it was still good.

I enjoyed it, good and gory, but there just wasnt much meat to the story.

Laughed through the first 2/3rds, then it lost steam and the ending just fell flat (aside from the after-the-credits tag)...

Last: Kick-Ass

Just two words for this movie... Kick Ass. I might just end up buying this one. The scene with Hit Girl slashing everyone to the "Banana Splits Theme Song" by THe Dickies was hilarious. Lots of slashing but not tasteless... fun. Well Done.
