Got mine Tuesday. Haven't watched yet. We watched Marmaduke tuesday night. It was an OK family flick. Had its funny parts.

This will be the first eye candy flick since calibrating the TV and duo, so I'm excited I guess.

I started it in the HT: 720p - 73" with a 7.1 sound system & shakers, moved to the BT: 1080p 110" - 5.1 sound with shakers at the 1:05 mark... it looked and sounded excellent in both.

It's gotten high marks on PQ and AQ. I think in certain scenes in the first, the AQ coula been better.

This time the audio is dts MA , the first IM was Dolby TruHD (myself I like dts better for most except Star Trek)... definitely a buy when I take the rental back...

Good deal. The first one had some great scenes, and GREAT bass, but the gunshots and such, IMO, coulda been a LOT better. Maybe they did not want certain sounds muted by the battle, I dunno, but I prefer a crazy fight with sounds everywhere.

It's like when he comes outta the cave, in the first suit. You can hear the suit moving over the gunshots and mayhem, and I guess thats what they wanted, but I woulda preferred more.

Some demo worthy scenes in both... I have the opening & the Jets scene from one on a couple of my demo discs, two has several scenes I want
I rented AVP (not in stores here) for the dts Ma on it... (& will end up with War of the Worlds for same)

The jet's scene is good. I think they just wanted the suit sounds to be heard over the battle, which is understandable.
