Looking Good

I just wish D* used the mandatory format so I can watch it on the JVC upstairs. Evidently ESPN says they send both T/B and SbS to D*. I think DOn says he has the same problem with his Sony.

The NBA game from a couple of weeks ago and the College game last night had some good stuff on the court during the breaks... the cheerleaders etc.. and it is nice to watch sports without tickers ruining the screen.

Or retaining in your plasma.

Uconn vs Syracuse not bad...

There's the problem right there. 720 SbS is an optional format. ESPN is sending them the mandatory T/B along with the SbS. D* needs to use it. MAybe then I could watch it upstairs on the big screen.

Wouldn't be a problem if they were doing 1080i SbS as that is a mandatory format as is 720p T/B. 720p SbS is not. I know my Panasonic accepts it. My JVC will not. Haven't heard from Don in a while about his Sony.

Nothing new to report. VW90ES is working great on all sources. Just wish I had more programming. Avatar looked fantastic. Getting ready to watch Coraline tonight.
