Thanks,Titanium. If what I worked on today doesn't fix it, I will try that next. Normally we turn everything off/on at once at the surge protector.(Sometimes the wife powers down the receiver before hitting the surge protector switch though)

Leaving the receiver/position on 24/7 might work as well... but I hope it doesn't come to that.

I plan to put a bicycle tube on the actuator arm to help keep out the water as well.

Update: It's now been one week since I straight-wired inside the actuator motor housing. Knock on wood...The Sats have not jumped position yet.Nor has the dish ran away upon start up.

VBOX7 Lost count Issue

I recently had a problem with a VBOX7 losing counts and resolved it as noted in this posting.
