I guess it started today. It's much better to me than having to go to espn website or app to watch. It has 3 or 4 direct channels plus one that tells you many other things are airing. If you click on that, it shows other streams you can click on and choose what to watch

It is definitely better. I wonder if you can record the games on it.

I saw an article yesterday talking about it launching and it said DVR would work with it, but I guess time will tell as they iron out the bugs. It's a huge development for sure though. No more switching apps, and the ability to actually record all your teams games in one place instead of having to go to ESPN's app to watch the streaming only events.

Ok, I found it guys, moved it up with the rest of my ESPN listings (or do you use just the unlimited and remove the rest, all are under the Unlimited) ...
Wish something was on so I can confirm this is working.

About 6 months ago I told a guy at Verizon (Manager) that YTTV would have espn unlimited in time for the football season .. no addl charge .... he laughed at me and said it would be $35 .. thats what Verizon was pushing it for.

It's really going to be big for fans of smaller colleges, and everyone when basketball season rolls around and so many of the games are on ESPN+ only. It's definitely a game changer. My parents have YTTV, and I've got a profile on their account, so I'm really looking forward to using this and the custom Multiview feature when kickoff rolls around this weekend.

Ok guy, I got another question ...
Now in my Guide I have ESPN, ESPN2, which are the Main ones I use ... then I have the ESPN Unlimited ones (3 different ones showing)
The Houston Astros are playing Chi White Sox right now on espn unlimited (or thats what the internet says under thier schedules) but I don't see that game listed in my guide anywhere ...

How do I get to that game ?

Kinda checking before Football time gets here.

edit:
I am able to get it when I went to the ESPN APP.

One of those ESPN Unlimited Channels you click on and it opens up with more events that are selectable

If you're using a custom guide, you will need to edit the custom guide and add them to it before you will see them
I am a subscriber to YouTube TV.

I use the Custom feature for guide listing of channels.

So, I now have ESPN Unlimited listed just before ESPN (and its sister channels).

This is good.

It will be interesting to see if YTTV still makes people pay extra for the 4K add on to watch, or if they make it available to all customers.

I was curious about that as well ...

I was just checking and yes, its, as of now, still $9.99.

Does this mean the 4k on ESPN will show regardless, lets hope.

It would be nice to gave it for the Football games this weekend.

I'm wondering if there will be a designation, stating that its in HDR such as when you turn that channel on or if it will be listed in the guide .. does it come in automatically ...

I guess we'll wait and find out.

You can use the ESPN app if you have an apple tv. The 4K HDR feed for football has been available since Week Zero games.

Does it happen automatically and is there a pop up or something to tell you that it is there.
This way you know which one to choose.

I'm using Youtube TV, (in the guide it would be nice) Also in the YouTuve Tv side of things, In the Home section, if you drop down on the screen theres a 4K tab that tells you whats currently on in 4K ... if the same channel shows up in the guide (which it should) and you go to the Channel in the guide, does it take you to the 4K channel automatically ?
