Marvel’s Agent Carter

ABC Picks Up Marvel's 'Agent Carter' Straight to Series.........Fans will have a double dose of superheroes this year, as ABC is doubling down on its Marvel fare for the 2014-15 broadcast season. The network has ordered Agent Carter -- based on the Captain America one-shot on the Iron Man 3 DVD -- straight to series and has renewed Agents of SHIELD for a second season. From showrunners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas, the drama stars Captain America's Hayley Atwell and takes place a year after the events of Captain America: The First Avenger.
Is this not the original announcement for before the series ran?

2014/15 season which is the current season, and Agents of shield is already in its second season. So if it is renewed it will be for a third.

Agent Carter saved! ABC orders second mission

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/05/07/agent-carter-season-2

Agent Carter’s mission will continue next season. Marvel’s most at-risk TV series has managed to score a renewal.

The Captain America spin-off starring Hayley Atwell averaged a relatively modest 7.6 million viewers and a 2.4 rating among adults 18-49 this season when including seven days of DVR playback. The period action-drama, which took over ABC’s Tuesday night from Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. during midseason, was considered very much on the bubble for a pickup. Though ABC did not give an episode count, we’re hearing they’re ordering another 8 hours, same as the first season.

'Agent Carter' heads to Hollywoodland in stylistic Comic-Con poster https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/agent-carter-heads-hollywoodland-stylistic-200600138.html
The new season of “Agent Carter” is months away, but since we already know Peggy and the gang are headed west there’s no reason to wait when it comes to promotional materials! Especially with Comic-Con right around the corner.Entertainment Weekly revealed the stylized poster that will be available to fans in limited quantities during SDCC. If anyone was worried Jarvis would take on a smaller role now that Peggy isn’t working for Howard Stark, put those fears to rest.

Marvel's Agent Carter Both Renewed http://www.comicvine.com/articles/m...-agent-carter-bo/1100-152232/#ftag=YHF1845f42
We'll be getting more action in the past and present with S.H.I.E.L.D.The moment we've been waiting for has finally arrived. May is the month we find out what shows are returning in the fall and which will be saying goodbye. With Agents of SHIELD and Agent Carter, there's been some speculation whether or not both would be returning. While ratings for Agent Carter weren't as great as the studio would have liked it will be back for a second season. Agents of SHIELD hasn't been as huge as the Marvel Studios films but it has been consistent with the ratings, especially after the DVR numbers are included. There's also the rumored SHIELD spin-off possibly starring Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood as well as another 'mystery project' being developed by John Ridley only described as "reinventing an existing superhero character."Next Tuesday, May 12, is the two-hour season finale for Agents of SHIELD. Things are definitely heating up with the coming war between SHIELD and the Inhumans. You won't want to miss it.Looks like we can continue to count on more Marvel characters coming to the big and small screen in the near future.Update....Some reports are saying the Palicki and Blood spin off is dead. Nothing official on that has been released.

The 'Agent Carter' and 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' casts are doing another Dubsmash war (for charity) http://entertainthis.usatoday.com/2...BlitzRss&utm_campaign=usatoday-lifetopstories
Fangirls, brace yourselves, because the Marvel TV show casts are going for Dubsmash War 2: This One’s for Charity. That’s right after the first war gave us such gems as Clark Gregg dressing up as Agent Carter and, oh I don’t know, PEGGY AND STEVE REUNITING, the casts are prepared to give us even more lip-syncing goodness. And this time it’s for a good cause even! The new war is kicking off on Sept. 2. Fans will vote on the winner of each round by donating money to either Stomp out Bullying or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. One of the donors will get to have lunch with Hayley Atwell, James D’Arcy, Chloe Bennet and Clark Gregg and make a Dubsmash video with them. We’re guessing some people will be interested. So which Avenger do we think will show up this time around?

Marvel's Agent Carter Season 2 First Look: Who's the (New) Boss? https://www.yahoo.com/tv/s/marvels-agent-carter-season-2-162724007.html
In the penultimate hour of Marvel’s Agent Carter‘s freshman run, SSR Chief Dooley (played by Shea Whigham) found himself irrevocably strapped by Dr. Ivchenko into a vest created by Howard Stark, a gizmo that would progressively overheat and explode with Dooley in it.What happened after Dooley pitched his volatile self out the window to protect his SSR colleagues transpired fast and furiously, as Season 1’s final episode unspooled. So there was not a free moment to address the issue of a succession plan.

Hayley Atwell confirms Dottie return for Agent Carter season 2 http://www.flickeringmyth.com/2015/...-dottie-return-for-agent-carter-season-2.html
Speaking at Fan Expo in Canada (via CBR), Agent Carter star Hayley Atwell has confirmed that Bridget Regan’s Dottie Underwood will be returning for the second season of ABC’s Marvel series.“Oh, she’s a slippery bitch,” said Atwell when asked about Peggy’s nemesis. “We haven’t seen the last of her. Peggy has male baddies that she fights, but to have someone who is physically her equal — she’s a Black Widow, incredibly capable and very smart — I think that shows some balance for Peggy, like a flip side of the same coin. You’ll see more of her in season two.”Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home — and perhaps even a new love — she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.Season 2 of Agent Carter will air during the midseason break of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. season 3, with Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), James D’Arcy (Edwin Jarvis), Enver Gjokaj (Agent Daniel Sousa) and Bridget Regan (Dottie Underwood) confirmed as returning and Chad Michael Murray (Agent Jack Thompson) and Lyndsy Fonseca (Angie Martinelli) both expected to reprise their roles.

AGENT CARTER CASTS MADAME MASQUE, SHOWS SEASON 2 FOOTAGE http://www.ign.com/articles/2015/10...ium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed:+ign/all+(IGN+All)
Many new faces are coming to Marvel's Agent Carter in its second season. The series held its New York Comic Con panel on Friday, October 9th where Marvel announced a new slate of actors for Season 2, as first reported by Entertainment Weekly.Wynn Everett will play Whitney Frost, known to Marvel Comics fans as Madame Masque. EW reports that she'll be a Hollywood actress and a brilliant inventor on Agent Carter. Playing her businessman husband Calvin Chadwick is Currie Graham. Also joining the cast is Outlander actress Lotte Verbeek as Jarvis's wife Ana, who becomes a new friend of Peggy's upon her move to Los Angeles, and Reggie Austin as Jason Wilkes, a "quirky, yet charismatic scientist who instantly charms Peggy."Rounding out the Season 2 cast are returning actors Dominic Cooper as Howard Stark and Bridget Regan as Dottie Underwood. Despite this previously announced news, series stars Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and James D'Arcy (Edwin Jarvis) gave NYCC attendees a bit of a scare when they stated in a video, recorded in "sunny California," that Cooper wouldn't be back. Fortunately that was just a gag, as the "sunny" backdrop fell away and revealed a man sweeping off to the side -- who, as it turns out, was Cooper. As Season 2 is currently filming, Marvel played a cute little scene where Jarvis and Peggy walk to "Mr. Stark's leisure car." For some reason Peggy won't let Jarvis drive, telling him, "Your thirst for adventure is appreciated." When he shows her the special features in the car, which include a panel that opens to reveal a bottle of champagne, Peggy notes that "Howard Stark becomes more ridiculous." It seems the special features are more trouble than help, as one of the buttons Peggy presses makes her seat very abruptly and unexpectedly recline.. as she notes the car features a mirrored ceiling.

Agent Carter First Look: Check Out Jarvis' New Wife http://www.cinemablend.com/television/Agent-Carter-First-Look-Check-Out-Jarvis-Wife-91417.html
While Marvel TV fans are excited that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D is back on the air, a few us are already looking forward to the hiatus and the return of Agent Carter. We already know about some of the ways they’ll be shaking up Season 2, but they’ll be solving some mysteries as well. In particular, exactly who is the woman who married Jarvis? Now we know, as Outlander’s Lotte Verbeek has been cast as Ana Jarvis. While little is known at this point about Mr. Jarvis, we did know he was married. Occasional references were made to Mrs. Jarvis during the shows first season, mostly by her husband talking about how she’s not going to be very happy with him due to everything he gets up to with Agent Carter. We’ll finally be able to put a face, and a personality, to the name as Ana Jarvis will be a series regular this time around. While having two strong women in Jarvis’ life could be a recipe for disaster, that’s apparently not the case here. According to Deadline, Ana will be a free-spirit who immediately befriends Carter and helps her adjust to her new life in Los Angeles. We’ve known for a few months that the new season will take place in L.A. We also know that Jarvis is there helping Howard Stark set up his Beverly Hills estate. It appears that this is ast least a semi-permanent move if the wife came with him as well. They’ve apparently been there long enough that Ana Jarvis now knows the ins and outs of Southern California so she can help Peggy out. While I was expecting that Mrs. Jarvis would be a faceless name that would go several seasons without ever being revealed, maybe with a high profile cameo at the end, but instead we’re going to get to know her well. The “free spirit” description certainly makes it sound like she’ll have more in common with our titular agent than with her proper English gentleman husband. Maybe that’s why Jarvis and Carter work so well together. Work is a lot like home, just with more guns...we hope.
