I totally agree about Sandoval, but the Giants can survive without Big Time Timmy Jim.The Giants need some starting pitching, especially if Timmy Jim doesn't make it back. I think they should also resign Sandoval regardless of his cost.
i think your future RF in Steven Moya is playing Arizona Fall League right now if you what to spent your money on the bullpenTigers need a BULLPEN, a catcher a RF'er and a healthy SS ( hopefully the SS is in good shape)
A couple of reliable Starters would be good to fill out the rotation, Scherzer more than likely will go to whoever pays the most ... that Won't be the Tigers.
I agree about Moya, we just haven't seen him enough to just give the position to him as far as I'm concerned.i think your future RF in Steven Moya is playing Arizona Fall League right now if you what to spent your money on the bullpen
Done deal ...Tiger Free Agent Victor Martinez to sign back with the Tigers, 4 yrs for 68 M.
Pending Physical.
Miller coming to the Tigers .... I hope.Micheal Cuddyer signed with the Mets. Everybody says its a good move but how can you trust a guy that only played in 49 games this season. Now, the Mets need to get Castro from the Cubs. Or Andrew Miller from the O's.
How does 13 years, $320M sound?Looks like the Marlins SUPPOSEDLY are looking into a contract similar to Freddie Freeman's from the Braves to entice Stanton to sign long term. The team owns his rights for the next 2 years still. Rumor is something like $190 for the next 7 years.
Stupid ....How does 13 years, $320M sound?

I would have liked the Tigers to have signed him, but they more than likely would not have wanted to go that high.Russell Martin signs a 5-yr $82M contract with the Blue a Jays. 33 years old, and a catcher......

A- Too much... if this contract goes through, its going to put MLB on the path to a salary cap.
B- We're also dealing w/ that vile snake Loria. There is no way in hell Stanton will still be in Miami at the end of this contract. Either Loria has a backside deal w/ another team for a trade 2-3 years from now (NYY??) or there's a termination/release/opt out clause in the contract.
The hoser's cheap and I doubt he'll be spending big bucks on his team. Something's up and it smells like 2004 Montreal all over again.
