Lather, rinse, repeat….

I didn’t read your entire post until now. I just saw that Sale will miss the remainder of the 2022 season part. I assumed (I know, I know) that was referencing his broken finger. Then I read he fell off his bike and broke his wrist. What in the actual ****!!!!! Is this guy made of glass or what??!! Chris Frail ladies and gentlemen.

Tomorrow another BS day in baseball for me ....

When you pay money for a subscription for MLB, you should get ALL the games ... thats what the package touts.
Previously, there were games on Fridays on Apple TV however, the games were free when you used Apple's ID..

NOW they have tomorrows game on YOUTUBE TV ... WTF ...

So now I need to invest in ANOTHER streaming service to watch a game ....

ANOTHER way for them to STEAL money from you ...

I won't see this game, I'm NOT buying Youtube TV for a game. ($65 per month)

Another BS deal is the man on 2nd base in extra innings ...
Have i mentioned how much I hate baseball lately ...

Manford has the GO.

Here’s the postseason schedule. Interesting that there is no off days between games 3 and 7 in either LCS. That could prove to be a war of attrition between the bullpens.

It make it better for those with a deep Starting staff ....
If you have 4 or 5 Solid Starters all the better, vs the team with only 2 or maybe 3 reliable starters.

That’s an excellent point. Teams will have to go with a 5 man rotation in games 3-7 (unless the pitcher starting game 7 goes on 3 days rest).

I've REALLY had ENOUGH with this STUPID excuse Manford has made of Extra Innings in baseball ....

You have a pitching duel all night, go into OT and it's not baseball any more ...

This is like starting your winning drive at the opponents 20 yard line needing any point at all ... just plain STUPID.

Two Top Teams squared off tonight the Braves and Astro's a very good game until it got to extra innings.

It's like a get out of jail free card ... Your best teams are only about .500 in Extras, it shouldn't be that way.

The dreaded extra innings “Manfred Man”. You are correct, this stupid gimmick needs to go away.

Bud "Light" (Kennesaw Molehill) Selig did a lot of wrong things. But he loved baseball.

Manfred is just some NYC labor lawyer whose firm happened to get a contract with MLB, and he rode the waive. One butterfly wing flap in Africa and the owners walk into some other firm's office and Manfred is some guy who represents airlines or bottled water makers and who hasn't been to a game since he was 12.

Because Rob Manfred simply does not like baseball.

Here is a list of the changes that baseball needs:

(end of list)

Twins vs Astros game tonight, the Twins just got screwed by the Umps ....
Altuve got hit by the pitch, while going down to 1b, the Pitcher Sanchez is talking to Altuve (it wasn't really intentional I don't think) and the players came out of the dugouts, they talk, no damage done, except, the Ump says that the Twins arwe being called for a Visit, so they have to pull the Pitcher .... Manager (gets thrown out) talks long enough to have his guy in the pen get loosened up.

This should Not have been a Visit.

More STUPIDITY from Manford

The Twins had no chance tonight ...
J Verlander the last 2 times against them has pitched 14 inning and 1 hit.

Tonight for some unknown reason, Dusty took him out after 6 innings and 90 pitches ....
0 hits and 10 K's for the night ...
WHY would you take the guy out, he typically throws 110 pitches with no issues.

It will be interesting to see what he says in the post game, which I won't see due to the MLB EI package cutting off the feed a few minutes after the conclusion of each game.

New Pitcher comes in and the No Hitter is Gone ...

Correction, Twins had no chance with Verlander in there.

How do you all feel about these changes ?

I think it's going to diminish the World Series if you play that team already, what did they say 13 times ?

Are they going to change the Playoffs so you can play teams on the other side before the WS ?

Is the WS going to still be the AL vs NL ?

Hate, hate, hate it!! I’ve always preferred the unbalanced schedule when they had it in the 70’s and early 80’s and then when they went back to it in the early 00’s. But it’s not just that that I hate about this schedule. I also hate how they’re starting the season on March 30th and still ending the season in early October. The reason for this is because there will be inherently more off days because there will be fewer 4 game series (which means more Mondays or Thursdays off). So now we’re starting the season in the Northeast and Midwest in freezing temperatures, and if one of those teams is lucky enough to go to the World Series, they could be hosting a hypothetical World Series game 7 in freezing temps in early November. This is hardly an ideal schedule for baseball.

Was this another Manford doing ? (Obviously it had to be ok'd by others as well, but was it his idea ?)

They use to start the season on the 1st Monday in April I believe it was, now its all about ESPN or whoever has the MLB rights now.
Starting in March is just dumb as most of the Northern cities are cold and possibly facing Rain Or Snow.

I'd lie to Like your post, but the premise mean it should get a Frown .... lol

I’m quite sure this is another of Manfred’s bright ideas.
