This is one is very strange. IMDB listed it as OAR equal to 2:35:1 but the movie openning and closing credits as well as the movie was 1:85:1 without distortion in the aspect ratio. I would have to see the DVD and compare it to it to see whether this is an open matte HD transfer. It is possible but I do not have the DVD to compare. Anyone has any other input?

Brought a tear to my eye when Kong died.....but one thing I have to ask is that the PG seems to be wrong alot on MonstersHD. Anyone else notice this? I almost went by this one when I realized that it was indeed KING KONG LIVES. Very fustrating. How the hell will a DVR work if the PG is wrong ?

I thought it was correct and that it is still correct (even on this one). It has been correct for about the last five days...

Maybe I was reading the PG wrong....or maybe I was watching King Kong lives right towards the end and saw the next movie? I'll check again...thanks
