Just finished watching half of the Flesh Eater. A BW movie. Funny how these type of movies could scare you back then but now it looks funny because the special effects are so obvious. It makes you appreciate movies today...

Dead Ringers
While not on the Monster HD. On channel 104 cinema4 They will be showing Dead Ringers at 9pm tonight. Definitly one to be checked out.

Artisan to give us THE SHAFT
After floating around the distribution netherworld for a while, Dutch filmmaker Dick Maas’ DOWN, a pseudo-remake of his ’80s killer-elevator film THE LIFT, hits U.S. video May 20 from Artisan, under the new title THE SHAFT. The movie, which takes a more tongue-in-cheek approach to
the subject matter, also has a bigger-name cast: James (TWIN PEAKS) Marshall, Eric (THE PUPPET MASTERS) Thal, Dan Hedaya, Edward Herrmann and, most pertinently, THE RING’s Naomi Watts. (Any resemblance between Artisan’s SHAFT logo on the artwork at left and the title treatment from the DreamWorks hit is, no doubt, purely intentional.) No details are available just yet about DVD extras, though they’re likely to be insubstantial. Look for a set-visit story on the film in Fango #223, on sale May 20.

Monster Channel Godzilla-thon did I miss it?
Hi:
Did the monster channel already have the all day Godzilla-thon. I didn't see the movies and they stopped running the promo.
I think the Monster channel is the best channel on VOOM though I wish they wouldn't play the really bloody movies or rated R movies until after 8PM.

Couldn't watch them all. Just pieces of a few ones but the transfer looked good and a lot of those movies are still pretty good.
Octaman is showing on the Monsters-HD channel. According to all the review I read, worst movie ever made. It has this merit but I know that there will be people thatwill disagree.
