Hi Guys:

Was wondering if someone could give me any advice on a Motorola DSR-922 receiver. Is this receiver capable of viewing digital channels like on SES-1(C_band) or do I need a different reciever?

I also have a Amiko Mirax HIS-2000. but I like the DSR-2000 because it has a dish mover output.

Still learning this.. and resurrecting a 20 year old 10.5 foot dish with a new c band LNB.

Thanks!

John

Most of the folks that have one use it just to move the dish. But there are some ways to get some decent digicipher channels that come open from time to time with those units. But like most old receivers they don't pick up the newer modulation types. Many of us have moved into Enigma OS boxes capable of 4K and other nice options. There is a whole subsection in the FTA forum dedicated to those receivers.
