Yeah, its out. My HR24-500 got it at 2:35 am two days ago. HR22 has not.

Does not fix the AM21 recording bug (HR24-500), and people with 500's are now having more problems with Media Share.

You do know that 40D was the last CE, so does that mean that a new NR is soon to be coming ?

Yes, a new NR is rolling out (40C/40D for HR2x).

So it's the current CE version that they are rolling out, thats good, seems to be running pretty good !
