My Nextwave Navigator NCC500 arrived today. The manual is for the most part useless. I get the feeling its not going to be as easy as entering frequencies.

Does any one here have any idea how to make this work?

I was going to try looking at the one analog channel on 121 C Band

4120 H

but like I said before I can not figure out how to add new satleites or manuly enter the frequencies.

(The antenna would be fixed on 121 so I do not need to worry about motor controls.)

Thanks

The "channels" (1 thru 24) on the analog receivers correspond to transponder frequencies- each one is opposite polarity from the last..H/V/H/V...etc. Just set the dish on 121 and channel up or down 'till you get it. :) What channel are you looking for?...I'll check which channel it is on my DSR-920.

i don't have my manual its at home ... didn't like the setup menu but the old analog receivers were preset with freq & TP so all you had to do was setup a satellite

there were two types of satellites (besides ku) c-band where TP1 was V and sats where TP1 was H .... some listed them as normal and reversed

if you are going to move the dish with the analog receiver then you can program all the sats in ... or if you was just going to slave it and watch analog then you would just need to program two sats.

Its not so much that I want to watch it, but more so it might help me when I am trying to align my dish to 121. The channel is Jewelry TV (According to Lyngsat the only thing left on 121 that is still analog.)

I would certainly be curious if you are able to pull it in.

does it have just channels 1-24 or can you program them? I had an analog box a while ago that you could program in the different frequencies and actually hook a diseqc switch to it

sold it a while back when analog started getting down in quantity
