I still prefer AntiChristConference - it fits in soooo many ways.
The SEC OOC schedule is a joke. They beat up on creampuffs and claim to be the best conference.
The ACC and BE more than make up for it in basketball season, whereas the SEC is lucky to get 3-4 teams into the dance.
Who was the last back to back Basketball National Champion?
An ACC school?
A Big East school?
You're right. It was a team that hasn't made the NCAA Tournament in 2 years. Some dynasty.
People in Florida don't care about basketball. Most probably don't even know that Florida won back to back championships in basketball.

Urban Meyer is a Cincinnati Alum.
So that means those Florida championships were made possible by the Big East Schools.
They know that they won. But, I will tell you that Basketball is a great way to pass the time until spring football starts.

The in conference schedule more than makes up for it, but even then, not all OOC games are against cream puffs.
Fl. State, Clemson, and Va Tech have been OOC games for Bama over the past three years, with the Penn State coming next year.

They have a few traditional creampuffs, Miss St, Vandy & Kentucky. All of which have less SEC titles than Ga Tech and Tulane.That's because their creampuffs don't come in conference like the Big East, ACC, or Big 10.

That's my point, if they play no one OOC, how do you justify that they are any good, just because they play each other?
That does not really change the point of what he said though. Bowl records, and winning BCS championships if you do not want to call it the national championship.
It still makes my point that the SEC is overrated, that is why they get in the BCS game.
