I am a current VOOM subscriber, but am a little frustrated with their lack of DVR, no regional sports, unsightly antenna, und, und, und...

Cable can provide HD service + HD DVR for $67.00 (the same price as VOOM).

Why should I stay with VOOM?

Will the HD quality degrade with cable?

Perhaps you shouldn't!
You know, this is something that only you can decide for yourself. You can read all other opinions, but in the end, it all boils down to your personal taste and preference.

As for me, it's all about HD and being able to watch it almost exclusively. No one else can offer this today. And since I do enjoy VOOM's exclusive programming, the choice for me is clear.
