New HD Box Freezing

I just switched to Directv. I have the new HD DVR box. The past few days it's keeps freezing and then turning gray. I have had it less than a month. The POS did it tonight about 10 seconds before the Avs scored the game winning goal. Any idean what could be doing this?

What model? What have you done to get it unfrozen?
Did a restart help?

But, I'd call DirecTV to get a replacement.

i would definitely try a hard reboot (unplug the power cord for about a minute). but i would also call dtv. if they give you a hard time, email their customer advocate team.
