That’s funny considering the TiVo edge is a complete POSi went back to spectrum with a tivo edge and a mini since there sh*t is outdated!!! i have verizons whole home 5G for internets. i ran like hell from AT&T . i was on the DTV website today and noticed they dropped there packages by 10.00 off

Hydra has nothing to do with it. I love Hydra. It however still has a lot of bugs and even features missing from the Bolt. They have been very very slow with addressing issuesWhy do you think that? Other than the fact it can only run Hydra, which I don't want for multiple reasons, I don't see any reason why it would a step down from my Bolt. I don't see any reason why it would be a step UP either, though...

Well I can't really speak to either one, since the 4 Tivo's I currently have, are all Roamio models. But since I'm still on TE3, they ALL run beautifully & quickly, & do their DVR functions as they are supposed to...which IS what their primary functions is/was supposed to be. (except for the continued garbage Rovi guide data, which affects ALL Tivo's models regardless) I hope & I'm glad Rovi is NOT trying to shove move features &/or "apps" on these older models, as obviously they are not designed to run more things like that...which is why they continue to run as good as they do now. Plus if I want to run apps, that's what Roku &/or other streaming devices excel at & are dirt cheap to buy!I love my Bolt, it was a huge improvement over the Premiere.
so how is the edge crap over the bolt??? i heard the bolt had over heating issues!!! along with HDD failures but the HDD thing is a given!!! iv'e had no issues with my edge!! i heard hydra was sh*t alsoI love my Bolt, it was a huge improvement over the Premiere.
