Had little choice out here in a rural area...no cable...had Primestar, they sucked...went to DirecTV, they sucked even worse...got VOOM, loved it, then lost it...can't live without MonstersHD, so DISH was the only choice for me...

No matter where you go, make sure you get a provider that has INHD. Incrediable HD. I had Voom (the real "Voom" service, not just 10 exclusive channels) for over 1 year until they went under. I can say that the HD quality on INHD is so much better than Equator or some of the other Voom channels. The IMax series on INHD has the "wow" effect. Of course this has to do with Imax cameras filming on 70mm film. So clear and the picture is so deep. And, to top it off, the sound is fantastic; crystal clear with true surround. This is real HD and the real demo channel for HD. The only thing that comes close is a few OTA channels, yet they don't even measure up.

DTV and would not sub to Voom package even if it were there I will never again support anything that cablevision stands to make money from.

Voom hacking area ?

How do I recieve an OTA signal from a nearby market?
