The new 2.5g receivers look great... if you already have a Sirius subscription, I imagine you can transfer your subscription to a new receiver, and sell your old receiver on eBay, right?

As long as you don't have the lifetime subscription. I've heard that's receiver specific.

There may be a $75 cancellation fee (similar to cell phone companies) on Friends and Family radios. If you do want to change tuners, I'd call Sirius to check on the possible fee. They are not trying to make money on this fee, if there is one, they are just trying to recoup the cost of the radio.
