Using the SG2100 here are the angles you will need to point true south....

Motor elevation = 62 deg.

Dish on motor elevation = 25 deg.

HI PSB & THKS , I got those settings right than accordingly . Now when i try to Program each Sats , dont I need the right settings for each Sat? like LNB TYPE? LNB LOC FREQ FOR MY INVACOM - QPH-031? 22HZ? DISQC? SKEW ? TP ? POSTIONER SETTG?SAT SCAN ? MY LNB IS ONLY FOR KU BAND SATS RIGHT ? Someone said for my INACOM QUAD LNB to set the LNB type to UNiversal & the "loc Freq" to 9750 or 10600 , is that correct ?? thks Rick

Wrong, the QPH-031 uses a L.O. of 10750 (On the L side)

(And an L.O. of 11250 on the C side)

KU band only!

hi PSb , Also when i tried "FLASH backing up DATA to SD card "as page 37 in book says , it doesnt work ?? hmmm ??? The date of Data says year 2001 ?? should I try updating to newer version ?? where do i get that at ?/ maybe a link ? thks again ?

Pansat USA... You probably don't need the update, but why not... I did and I don't see any difference. The flash should work, do you have a card reader, you can save it to your computer.

Al

yes AL i have a SD memory card & it doesnt save the Data from the Pansat 3500 to the card . I havent tried it from SD card to receiver yet . Ok is there an easy guide or chart that shows the settings for each KU satelite with all the RIGHt settings ? which Sat do i try to Find 1st at the most south position ? thks ?

Your true south sat is Nimiq 2. Since you have an Invacom quad you can use that. You might want to find and store it (using the data PSB gave above) before installing the motor. Once you are ready to do the motor, Set the elevation scale on the motor to 62 and the Latitude scale to your latitude of 28. Set the dish elevation angle to 25. All of this info is on page 7 of the 2100 manual. Now, aim the entire assembly toward Nimiq 2 (about 183 on a compass). When you are sure you are aimed right make SLIGHT adjustments in your dish azimuth and/or elevation (do not touch the motor settings once set) to "peak" the signal.
