I have a SatCruiser DSR 101 Ace

I have been reading about firmware. Do I need to update the receiver with firmware. Can you provide me with some insight with regards to firmware

Thanks

If it works as it should you don't need firmware, you already have firmware on your receiver.
If something's not working as it should you can try here: http://www.satcruiser.com/

If you're talking about watching Dish Network programming you're stealing and that's not tolerated here.

Thanks

The reason for my question is from a previous post I had indicated that I was in Hamilton Canada and it was suggested that AMC-5 was the best choice for me. But I do not not have this has one of the choices in my drop down list
Here are some of the following that I have in my drop down list
Galaxy 1R
Galaxy3r_C
Galaxy 3R_KU
Galaxy 4R_C
Galaxy 5
Galaxy 6
Galaxy 9
Echostar 6
Telestar
Nimiq1_KU

Could you suggest if one of the following could be used for Hamilton

thanks

Enter the first transponder in the list, it looks like it's the strongest.

11742 V 11110SR

You should be able to enter that on any "Add transponder" page. I'm not familiar with the receiver but if you read the manual it should tell you how to program a transponder.

Hope this helps :)
