No banner on guide!!

When I press "Guide" button on remote (Model 52 for Hopper 3) , I see a banner at the bottom of screen with 6 channels above. I don't care about Dish's suggestions what to watch. I rather see no banner, and 7 channel guide. There is no way to get rid of it. I press Guide/Options/Guide Settings. Under Advance, I see "Notification Banner. I have only two options: 1- Show all 2-Show tips/tricks.
Why can't we have "None"? Could Dish give me that option with future updates or there is some solution I am not aware of?

You must be new. It used to be that way, they got rid of it for no apparent reason. Also, the guide used to go another hour to the right, and we had 4X FF/RW. Again, no apparent reason why they changed it.

Thanks Jim. Have been with Dish over 15 yrs. But, new here. U know, Dish got rid of Dish Forum. Too many complaints I reckon. I will try to ignore the banner!

You also have Large Text Size on in your guide settings.
On my guide, I see 8 lines and 2.5 hours

Thanks for that tip HipKat. I turned that off. just like u, I have 8 channels shown with Guide now. 8 better than 6!!
