I have FiOS and I want to ask other users a question. Preferably ones with dogs.

Do your dogs react to possible signal emissions from your RG-6 line? I've got my line running down a wall to get under the house to the main router but until recently, one of my pups has been chewing that line. My DirecTV lines are bundled with that line (for a total of 4 RG-6 lines) and that's the only line they want! It's frustrating to have to go out there and fix it and try to prevent access to the lines but I'm starting to wonder if there's a static emission of some sort that irritates or attracts them. I've tried chew toys, bones, kongs, etc. and no luck. And it only seems to occur when I'm surfing.

And yes, I've got a plan in the works to have it covered completely finally. I was just wondering if you guys have had similar issues.

I can't quantify your question about "emissions", because technically there should be none. Dogs on the other hand, smell first and chew second. So I'd say that the line from the subscriber box into the house - probably smells better (to the pup) than do the (older?) DirecTV cables.

yeah true. it is a newer line. i finally put in a line set cover that my cousin usually uses for AC systems and its definitely curbed that playing & chewing. i just found it odd that the dogs always went for my internet lines. They even managed to rip out the mesh that covers the airholes for my raised foundation, and behind one of those holes, they found the cat-6 cable that runs to my desktop in the bedroom! Its irritating but im sure any dog expert will say that the dogs are just bored. I even had one person tell me that they like the tingle they get from the line.
