has some hacked firmware on it (12.05.5f), but works great with FTA so I might just leave that FW on it. I did do a master reset to remove all the dish channels it had which are useless for me anyhow hehe.

I use the hacker-ware in both of my CS8000's . Allows turning off the tuning screeching sound, and Diseqc 1.1 support ( which I don't need so far ).

Yeap Looks like L.A had tons of hackers and that is the reason why such deals pop up locally.

There was a seller with a Pansat 9200HD with DVB-S2 module and was selling for $150. By the time he replied to me it was sold, bummer :rant:
