OK, since this, I had the opportunity to confirm what Lak7 said - the ECODA will pass pulse through both sides, regardless of the settings on the receiver. That is why every time I changed to a channel coming from the KU side, the V-Box7 would try to get the 6-footer to the center, even though I had the 22KHz set to off. So, since I don't plan to use the receiver to move the big dish automatically (I don't mind moving it with the positioner box, since it does a good job), I bypassed the V-Box and connected the cable straight from the DMX521 to the ECODA 0 KHz side, and the problem is solved. I still would like to find a solution to have signal from the lnbs duplicated *outside* to connect to my second receiver (without having to buy an Invacom QPH-031 Quad Polar LNB, that is).

On a side note, who needs Facebook when you have SatelliteGuys? When my wife sees me typing, she asks "Are you 'talking' to your friends?" LOL

If you have a spare Diseqc Switch to blow, you could try this

Receiver ------22KHz On---------SG9120------LNB
....................22KHz Off----Diseqc Port3------VBox-----LNB

Setup Ku Sat for Diseqc Port 1(but do not connect anything to Port 1), and C Band for Diseqc Port 3,
Since the VBox should not draw any power, the Diseqc Switch should survive.

Lak, what would this accomplish? Couls I connect ports 2 and 4 to anything?

Using the Diseqc switch to isolate the VBox from receiving Motor Commands intended for the SG9120.

I see. But by not connecting any signal to the VBox took care of that. I don't mind using the little remote to move the 8-footer manually, since I have all the positions set nicely. Plus, it's one more remote laying around to confuse my wife... lol
