Primestar Set up HELP

Great news! The old primestar has now hit G26. I can only pick up about 5 CBS news feeds, NY and DC X2 and another, and the university network. My singal on the CBS DC channel is about 65% with 44% quality. Any suggestions? Should I change my elevation or should I change the skew of the lnb?


EDIT: The university network is about 78% signal and 85% quality.
EDIT: Macy's is 61% singal and 55% Quality.

Congratulations! Now, you're experienced. Might play around with the skew a bit on your weaker channel, but remember some transponders may be weaker than others. If you're getting high quality readings on some channels, you may have it good as your going to get it, with current equipment. You can always tweak the elevation a little too, twisting bolts is what all of us do for fun.
The best way to find out is by 'tweaking' , just make a good mark on the pole so you won't lose G26. Having a tv out by the dish makes it all much easier too.

Tweaking is the best, worst, part of this hobby. Nomatter how good things are working you cant help but think I can do better
