I have an R22-200
the second tuner doesnt seem to work in one room but it work when i bring it in my other room

it was working before.. what could go wrong ? the cable ?.... No ? or the Port on the Multi-switch gone bad ?

Only way to test is to put another DVR on it to see what that does? or if you have a multi tester you could check it with that,don't know which settings to test sorry.Myself i just carry the DirecTV Protection Plan so I just call and yes I know that some don't believe it's worth it but I sleep alot easier.


Hopefully someone else will drop a line that knows more,sorry.

Yup the 8th Output on the Multi-switch is bad. i switched the cables around to troubleshoot.
Will Directv Replace the Multi-switch for free or ?

if you have the protection plan they will, if not it is a $49.95 service call or you can find one of the net pretty cheap!
