In the Superstar Magazine from July 1998, on Ku-band side of the chart it lists SBS4 for NBC feeds (though it was one of the inclined Ku birds at the time) from 1-10 it lists NBC/Occasional Video
B4-2: NBC (Occasional)
B4-6: NBC (Occasional)
and it also lists NBC Newsfeeds on GSTAR3
R3-3: NBC Newsfeeds
R3-4: NBC Newsfeeds
R3-6: NBC Newsfeeds
R3-7: NBC Newsfeeds
R3-9: NBC Newsfeeds
R3-11: NBC Newsfeeds
Though Ku-band was more of an occasional video bird, the rest of Ku mostly consists of Conus, sports and news feeds. Satcom K2 isn't in the Superstar Ku chart since it was one of the more inclined Ku birds at the time (along with SBS4).

In the Ku sat chart of Superstar Magazine (July 1998), Spacenet 3R Ku, transponder 24 which was also being used for Florida newsfeeds at the time was also being used for the University of New York feeds as well.

My Satellite TV Week Magazine from Aug. 1999 also lists an MSNBC News feed on Galaxy 3R Ku, transponder 11 and says Satcom K2 (which was owned by NBC) shows no regular video at press time, as it was one of the more inclined Ku birds at the time.

TRIVIA: WBGH-LP in Binghamton (which was a semi-satellite of WETM at the time) simulcast WETM's newscasts from Elmira (until The Ackerley Group bought the station in 2000), since the previous NBC affiliate for the Binghamton area (WICZ-TV) switched to Fox two years prior in the wake of similar affiliation switches in other parts of the U.S.
