Ready for HD in Ft Myers

OK, I have the 5lnb slimline installed and the H20 with the HD package. Was told by installer that HD locals will go live by mid December in Ft Myers FL area. When that happens, will the HD local channels be in the menu automatically?

tj, why wait for HD Locals via satellite, and just get a pair of rabbit ears, or put up an antenna? You can get all the Fort Myers HD now, and not have to pay for it!

Unless you live by Gulf Coast Dodge. A friend of mine lives there, and even with a big outdoor antenna, reception was spotty at best. I don't know why.

Check www.antennaweb.org, they are usually pretty accurate. I know here in the Cape, rabbit ears work just fine.

I tried the antenna once...didn't work. I'm actually in Port Charlotte withen the Ft Myers viewing area. I'm probably too far for over the air.
