I recently purchased a DVD recorder (Go Video) with the intention of transfering movies from my DIRECTV Tivo box (Hughes) to a DVD. Installation instructions are geared towards hooking the DVD recorder to a TV, but not another video source.

Question is, is it possible? One minor wrinkle is that my TiVo box is connected to the television with the older RCA type connectors (my S video plug is hosed on the TV).

I tried running the satellite signal out of the TiVO receiver, into the Go Video machine, and then to my TV. Didn't seem to work. Any suggestions?

Thanks.
