I have an HR34 and have had 2 programs that have frozen video but the audio continues. On one of the programs I had also recorded it on my HR24 which did not have any issues in either video or audio. The two programs occurred on Tuesday the 21st. Tuesday 05/21/2013 The Voice 8:59p 392 NBCeHD video freezes and audio continues. Playing same program recorded on HR24-500 0x06D8 on HR34-700 0x0716 plays back perfectly. HR24-500 plays back The Voice recorded on HR34-700 with the video freezing and loss of audio. HR34 Tuesday 05/21/2013 Pie in the Sky 7:59p 21 WLIW video freezes and loss of audio. HR34 Tuesday 05/21/2013 Castle 7:59p & 8:59p 245 TNTHD no problems. HR34 Tuesday 05/21/2013 NCIS: Los Angeles 7:59p no problems. HR34 Tuesday 05/21/2013 NCIS 8:59p 390 CBSeHD no problems. As up to this point Friday 05/24/2013 6:00a I have not had another video or audio problem with recorded programs that I have watched. I noticed that in my case the programs had a problem right at the beginning of the recording. I put in a one minute early start in my recordings and the early one minute played fine. I hope that the next software update will address this problem.
Do forgive me if someone else posted on this. I do not want to get my butt chewed out lets say some of you are not the most understanding.
