Maybe its not a merger. But rather the fact that if a Voom subscriber still wants to get basic SD channels they will have to subscribe to AT60 or above (which may require subs to have a dish pointed to 110/119) The Voom originals will be billed by VOOM and only include the 21 originals.

If you really want to speculate The original 21 could be a premium tier sold through Echostar just how Ecostar sells the Premium tier of HBO or Starz.

I thought it was already reported that Charles left Charlie's house without a deal in hand and that no deal would/could be made because Charlie was standing firm that he didn't need Voom or anything associated with Voom except for the bird?

Mine was blinking too and it opened to a March/April newsletter. Nothing new except a listing of all the new channels that were added. Nothing about the DVR or any additional channels.
It did list channel 340 FSNFL as being in the VAVAVOOM package but I think that is another lie.

Do you mean like Starz movie channels where if you buy the whole package then you get all 12 or so Starz channels that a provider offers or like the HBO packages? So, if you pay a certain amount you can get the Voom package from Dish Network which features 21 channels of exclusive HD content such as 10 cinema channels, RaveHD (the only HD music channel), and more? I'm not saying this as a package available right now on Dish Network, but does the description I just gave match the rumor? It looks like my brother will be satisfied then cause he's tired of paying out 10 bucks a month for 3 or 4 HD channels.

Yep, Dragon002, your mouth runs and runs, but when it's coming from an anemic lizard...I don't tend to worry just yet...not for VoOm, TYORK, or any of the rest of us who actually enjoy VoOming as opposed to listening to trolls barfing...troll barf is nasty...but not fatal. Vicki
