Senior citizens in hospice care

Is there any possibility with dish for a senior citizen discount if the spouse is in hospice care at home? My mom and dad have dish and my mom is is hospice care from multiple strokes and can only watch tv from her bed. Dad may have to cancel the service due to medical bills. Thanks for any advice

I haven't heard if Dish would discount, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'd PM a DIRT member.

There are no discounts.

Either do the club dish thing and refer some friends and family to Dish and get a discount that way, or go to a lower package.

I'm not so sure about that. There may not be a discount for this exact situation, but DIRT may be able to come up with some discounts on programming, at least for a year or something like that. The advice to contact a DIRT member is the answer. I would normally say to downdgrade your package, which if possible still is a partial solution. But if she has favorite shows or a favorite channel in a higher package downgrading in this case may not be the best solution. Contact DIRT.
Maybe between some discounts and if you can help a little with the bill, they can keep it.
