Sirius Activation Dilemma

Hi,

I received a gift of a Sirius Sportster 5 and two $50.00 gift cards. So, I tried to start an account with Sirius in the hope I wouldn't have to use a CC# to get things rolling. On their web site it mentions paying by check which is fine with me. How do you proceed with this way of activating a Sirius Account? My on-line attempt and trying to do it with Customer Service over the phone always brings me to a request for my CC#.

Anyone know how to activate a Sirius Account without using a CC#, with a preference for sending a check to get started with Sirius?

I solved my own dilemma!

Hello Satellite Guys,

I solved my own dilemma!

I was able to activate my account on-line with Sirius just by using the several gift cards I had. Just indicated I had the gift cards, entered the pin numbers , I had enough gift cards for about a year and a-half of Sirius, and was activated in less than 5 minutes after calling them with my Sportster 5 unit #.
