has anyone been using the stab HH120 with a 1.2M primestar type dish? I have been using my 1.2m Andrew with the Sg2100 and it works but is really strugling with all that weight even with a lighter fabricated mount.
Also seems like I have to readjust the 1.2 diseqc alot on most of the satellites, and with winter comming I'm thinking either downsize the dish to the 1m in the shed or scrape up some cash for a heavier motor as I don't want to be out in the wind and snow tinkering with my setup that should be good.
any input on this motor or another product would be appreciated.

Dave

I have a Fortec 1.2m dish and use the Stab HH120 motor for it. It is very slow, especially going uphill. And that's comparing it with a Stab HH90 on an 80cm dish, that hauls butt compared to the HH120. I'm sure the weight is a factor, but also, I think the HH120 is just slow.

I have the HH120 with the 120cm fortec dish.I used to use the sm3d12 and the 120 is slower. In the specs it is slower also, but it is accurate.
Reinhold.
