Strange error message

I have a HR-24 cionnected by HDMI to a Samsung 40" 1080P LCD. On occasion, I lose sound and picture, and get a message saying "mode not supported". The only way to get pic and sound back is to turn unit off and back on.

Problem is occasional, and I cant make it happen at will.

Any ideas?

I don't see this issue, but I do think this may be a duplicate thread? Maybe its a TV to SAT receiver compatibility issue?
