Sunday Ticket Question

I have a question for you old pros. I have been told that a phone line is not really needed to have DirecTV, only if you want to order PPV. Do you have to have the receiver connected to a phone line to get the Sunday Ticket (as it seems to be kind of in the same category as PPV)? Thanks for all the help, you guys are great.

It has not been required in the past, but the terms of service say them "may" require it. I imagine they "may" require it or other verification if you have many receivers and NFL-ST, like 5+.

NFL Sunday Ticket is more like a pay channel (like HBO) than a PPV channel so don't worry about the phone line.

connect your box to your home network...it replaces the phone line and brings On-Demand to you But these guys are right, nothing special needed to watch Sunday Ticket games...
