Can anyone reply if they might know if I can use the cruisecast equiptment
for any type of satellite service? It includes the Raysat (looks like the T5) dish
and receiver? I can get my hands on this stuff cheap but not sure if will apply.

Welcome to Satelliteguys. I used the search feature and found:
- - This is a mobile tv solution that uses a 12" diameter phased array antenna - & - RaySat's proprietary transmission technology over Ku band.
So it doesn't sound like it's worthwhile. http://www.satelliteguys.us/threads...-of-Satellite-2009-expo?p=1756914#post1756914
If it's FREE you may be the first to "hack" the antenna and see what it's capable of. But I wouldn't expect much. Couldn't find anything interesting 'on the net'.
Get your feet wet with something that works, first, is recommended. http://www.ebay.com/itm/GEOSATpro-m...US_Satellite_TV_Receivers&hash=item1c304e40e7
